HEXED CLAY CO — REFUND & RETURN POLICY

  1. General Return Policy

Hexed Clay Co jewelry and clay pieces are handmade, small-batch, and often one-of-a-kind, which means they cannot be returned or exchanged for reasons unrelated to damage or defect. All jewelry items, including earrings, are final sale; however, if an item arrives damaged or becomes defective within one week of delivery, you may be eligible for a replacement, swap, or refund as outlined in Section 5. Because patterns, colors, and textures vary naturally in handmade pieces, exact replacements may not always be possible.

Maker tools such as clay cutters, texture rollers, texture mats, water transfer sheets, and similar studio items are also considered final sale due to their functional nature and risk of wear once used. However, if a tool arrives damaged or becomes defective within one week of delivery, you may be eligible for a replacement or comparable alternative as described in Sections 6 and 7. Consumable or imprint-based tools (such as mats, rollers, and transfers) cannot be returned once opened or used, but defects on arrival will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis with photo evidence of damage.. We do not offer refunds on transfer sheets.

While returns are not accepted, I do offer assistance for items that arrive damaged or defective, depending on the type of product and the issue reported. Each product category—earrings, cutters, tools, and consumables—has its own eligibility criteria described in the following sections. If you believe your item arrived damaged, please review the appropriate section below and contact me within one week of delivery so I can help determine the best resolution.


2. Eligibility for Returns or Replacements (Damaged or Defective Items Only)

While all sales are final, I do offer replacements or solutions for items that arrive damaged or defective. Any issues must be reported within one week of delivery and must include photo proof of the damage. Items damaged due to misuse, improper storage, or normal wear and tear are not eligible for replacement. Approved cases will receive a replacement or alternative resolution as described in the relevant sections below.


3. Return Shipping and Replacement Shipping

If a return or replacement is approved, the customer is responsible for covering the cost of shipping the item back (if a return is necessary) as well as the cost of shipping the replacement item. This helps keep product pricing fair and reflects the small-business nature of Hexed Clay Co. Shipping fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.

4. Order Cancellations

Orders cannot be canceled once they have been processed or shipped, as handmade products often begin production quickly after purchase. If you need assistance and believe your order has not yet entered processing, please contact me as soon as possible at hexedclayco@gmail.com. While I cannot guarantee cancellation, I will do my best to help when feasible.


5. Earrings

All earrings are final sale due to hygiene and safety regulations. If your earrings arrive damaged or break within one week of delivery, please contact me with photo proof. Depending on availability, I may be able to offer: a replacement pair, a swap for another available pair of equal or lesser value, or a refund for the earring portion of your order if a replacement is not possible.


Because many earrings are unique in pattern or color, and often limited in quantities, exact replacements are not guaranteed.


6. Clay Cutters

Clay cutters are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. If a cutter arrives broken or breaks during normal use within one week of delivery, please send photo proof to request a replacement. Replacements will be provided only if the design is available; otherwise, I may offer a cutter of equal or lesser value. Customers are responsible for replacement shipping costs.


7. Texture Rollers, Texture Mats, and Transfer Sheets

All texture rollers, mats, and water transfer sheets are FINAL SALE due to their nature as studio tools and consumable products. If an item arrives damaged or defective, you must notify me within one week of delivery with photos for review. If approved, I will offer a replacement or a similar available product. Replacements are not guaranteed for discontinued or limited-run items.


8. Digital Products — Final Sale and Protected

Digital downloads, guides, templates, and tutorials are non-refundable and non-returnable under all circumstances. These files are for your personal use only and may not be shared, copied, reproduced, resold, or distributed in any form. All digital content is the exclusive intellectual property of Hexed Clay Co. Unauthorized distribution may result in revoked access and legal action. Please see the specific Terms of Service for digital products on StanStore, or the digital product listing.



9. Reporting Timeline

To report a damaged or defective item, email hexedclayco@gmail.com within one week of delivery. Please include: your order number, a description of the issue, and a clear photo proof of the damage.


Requests submitted after one week, or without adequate proof, may not qualify for replacement or resolution.
